TOPIC: HIGH IMPACT BY WISDOM (Part 5)

Text: “It is better to get wisdom than gold. It is better to choose understanding than silver.” – Proverbs 16:16, ICB.

To rise high and stay on top in any field of endeavour is by wisdom. While skill and opportunities are amazing, wisdom determines how far you go with your skill and how high you will rise with opportunities.

Many have been given life-transformating opportunities, and because they lacked wisdom, they either messed up or abused it.

The absence of wisdom will make any person struggle in life, and it doesn’t matter how religious you are. As a Christian, you must become very intentional about living with the wisdom of God. God’s word admonishes us that if we lack wisdom in any area, we must ask God for it (James 1:5).

There are experiences God will never bring you into until you have accessed wisdom for that area. God doesn’t want us to live merely by our experiences but to be guided by his wisdom. 

Dear friend, the absence of wisdom will make a person fight unnecessary battles. The absence of wisdom causes a person to consistently make wrong choices but blame others for the effects of their wrong choices and poor decisions.

Today is another great day to ask the Lord for his wisdom. You can never have too much of God’s wisdom; you need it every day.

Wisdom is revealed through action, not just words.

Lord Jesus, I ask that you guide me by your wisdom to lasting victory over every secret battle in my life.
