TOPIC: INTERNAL ENEMIES (Part 2)

Text: “Jehoshaphat stood and said, ‘Listen to me, people of Judah and Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God. Then you will succeed.”2 Chronicles 20: 20b, ICB.

Meeting people who don’t believe in our dreams and passions is expected as we live. It is normal to receive negative opinions and criticisms concerning our choices. However, no voice is as powerful as the voices you hear from within you. If you believe you can achieve anything, you are right. Also, if you believe you cannot, you are also right. No matter what anyone thinks of you, how you feel about yourself has greater power and consequence.

This is why, as a Christian, you need to constantly feed on the word so that it opens you up to the voice of God, to be able to see and think the way God does. When you maintain this as a discipline, you will be able to shut down any voice that does not align with God’s will for your life.

Yes, the voices will keep coming again and again; this is why you must battle against it every day. Maintain a daily walk in the spirit, and both internal and external voices will not prevail against God’s will for your life.

WISDOM PUSH

Learn to retreat and rest; you cannot fight when exhausted.
