Topic: KEEPER OF MY SOUL (Part 5)
Text: “…But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” – Proverbs 18:24, NKJV
Having a family that loves and cares for you is a great thing. Having friends with a good history is another incredible thing.
However, there is a relationship that beats all of these. It is a relationship with the Lord. Friends and families will be constrained sometimes and may be unable to offer the assistance or love you require, but we have a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
There will come times when our loved ones are so busy sorting themselves out that they cannot be there for us, but God will never be too busy for us. He is the keeper of our souls, the friend that sticks closer than a brother.
Whoever has God is not alone, neither is he weak; blessed are those who have received God as their friend.
Today’s task:
Take some time to meditate on God’s word in John 15:13-15.
