TOPIC: LIVING BY FAITH (Part 2)

Text: “We live by what we believe, not what we can see.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7, ICB.

A fundamental principle that every Christian must follow is to have more faith in your conviction than in your condition. Our conviction must be guided by what God says and His commitment to His word. We must be able to see with our spiritual eyes the reality of God’s promises.

You must understand that there is more than your physical eyes can see; there is the reality of God’s word that becomes our experience through faith.

Our physical/material challenges and limitations can mislead us to doubt God’s love for us and His power. However, you must believe that God is in control of everything. This is the conviction of everyone who walked in the reality of God’s power and promise.

Even when you may not see God working, you must trust and believe that he is preparing you for blessings and a mighty deliverance from whatever bedevils you.

Take some time to meditate on Ecclesiastes 5:3.

Be careful not to let a situation negatively impact your relationship with God.
