Topic: LIVING FOR THE FUTURE (Part 2)

Text: “So then, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of (our great) God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31, AMP.

 

One of the most important things every Christian should know is that we belong to God and that everything we do must be for His glory. Yes, he has given us the freedom to make our own decisions in life, but we must do so in the fear of the Lord and with the understanding that everything we do should bring glory to God.

We should be careful not to abuse the freedom the Lord has given us.

Dear friends, a great way to live for the future is to do everything for the glory of God while resisting the temptation to become slaves to our fleshly desires. This includes how we interact with others, go about our work, speak, manage our finances, and so much more.

As we honour God, he will honour us, and our future, both in this world and in the world to come, will be assured by him.

When we try to live holy, we glorify ourselves. When we live to glorify God, we will live holy.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that from today, everything I do will glorify God.
