Today’s Word: Living out God’s Love (Part 5)
Today’s Bible Reference: 1 John 2:10 ICB – “Someone says, I am in the light. But if he hates his brother, he is still in the darkness.”
One of the worst forms of hypocrisy is to passionately say we love God and engage in certain spiritual activities we assume reflect our love for God and yet live in hatred with our brothers and sisters.
One of the fundamental proofs that we truly know God and love Him is revealed in how we see and treat others. Everyone may not agree with us, nor will they always do what pleases us, but we must always ask ourselves, “how would Jesus respond? What exactly does God want me to do?”
When we begin to see the errors, mistakes and shortcomings of others through the eyes of God’s love, how we treat others will change for good.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, I declare that negative thoughts are not established in my mind; I know God’s truth and live by it in Jesus’ name.
