Topic: LOOK AND LIVE (Part 2)

Text: “My whole being, praise the Lord. Do not forget all his kindness.” Psalms 103:2, ICB.

There will be times when it will be difficult to demonstrate your faith in God. Sometimes, you do everything you think is right as a Christian, and things don’t turn out how you hoped, planned, and prayed.

At these times, it can become so convenient to forget God’s love and faithfulness and to forget that the God who was with us in good times is still with us in our trying moments.

We are reminded of the story of the children of Israel as they wandered in the wilderness. They were always quick to complain and rebel against God, doubting his ability to see them through. They had forgotten that it was the same God who had delivered them from the clutches of Pharaoh’s tyranny. They were quick to doubt God because they had forgotten his goodness, which is a mistake many of us make.

Whatever life throws at us or the season we are in, we must never forget that God is faithful. He is with us. He has not abandoned us and will not abandon us. We have hope when we remember how faithful God has been and know that the same God who came through for us before will do it again.

Dear friend, think deeply about God’s faithfulness and live without fear.

When we fail to focus on God’s goodness, we will be paralyzed by fear and our challenges.

TODAY’S DECLARATION

My God is faithful; he has seen me through thick and thin. I will always rejoice and be grateful for his love and faithfulness. Thank you, Jesus.
