Topic: LOOK AND LIVE (Part 5)

Text: “I stay awake all night so I can think about your promises.” – Psalms 119:148, ICB.

The Bible is a multi-dimensional book. It contains, among many other things, historical accounts, proverbs, parables, biographies, and God’s promises.

Our trust in any promise is determined by the integrity of the person who made it. We have faith in God’s promise because we have complete faith in his integrity. His promises are reliable. God’s word tells us in Titus 1:2 that “God does not lie.” Unlike humans, he does not make promises he does not intend to keep, nor does he forget his promises.

But we have a responsibility to declare his promises and to claim them by faith. Concerning every area of your life, there is a promise of God. We must get to know them and make them our meditation. (Psalms 119:148). No matter what, God’s promises are reliable, and he is committed to bringing to pass in our lives. (Isaiah 55:11).

Lord Jesus, I declare my faith in your promises and know you are committed to your word concerning my life.
