Topic: LOOK AND LIVE (Part 7)

Text: “Be very careful about what you think. Your thought runs your life.” – Proverbs 4:23, ICB.

The human mind is powerful; it directs the course of our lives, and unless we are intentional about what occupies our minds, we will mess up our lives without even realizing it. Our minds are like a vacuum we can fill with whatever we want. We can fill it with positive or negative thoughts. We can fill it with God’s word or with the opinions of others.

Dear friends, if we truly want to live the kind of lives that our father desires for us, we must start looking in the right places. Every day, we must intentionally expose our minds to God’s word to guide the thoughts we think.

Whatever you look at and think about will eventually take root in your mind; make sure it is God’s word.

TODAY’S DECLARATION

Lord Jesus, help me to daily fill my mind with the things that are righteous, true, noble, pure and praiseworthy. Help me to be consistent with this in Jesus’ name.
