Today’s Word: Loved to Love (Part 2)

Today’s Bible Reference: 1 John 4:19 ICB—”We love because God first loved us.”

We live in a world where it is considered smart to be selfish, self-seeking, self-focused, and self-pleasing. But as sons of God, we have been given a divine nature that we must allow to manifest—it is the nature of love. This nature will manifest effortlessly as we keep yielding to the Holy Spirit.

As sons of God, it is no longer normal or natural to be selfish, self-centered, and self-focused. This is because we are now like God; it must show in how we see, love, and care for others.

Just as cars are powered by gas, the actions of every believer should be powered by love. We should be driven and motivated by love in everything and every day.

Now, we have the nature of God; let’s show it through a culture of love.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I declare that I conquer selfishness every day, and I have a heart that extends care and love to others every day.
