Topic: My heart will not faint (Part 2)

Bible Text: “He should say, “Listen, Israel! Today you are going into battle against your enemies. Don’t lose your courage or be afraid. Don’t panic or be frightened. The Lord, your God, goes with you. He will fight for you against your enemies. And he will save you.” – Deuteronomy 20:3-4 ICB

 

The most profitable way to live is to live with the assurance that God is with you, living with confidence that the help of God is always available to you and knowing that the enemy’s desire will not win over you. This is how God wants us to live. In our bible passage today, God sent a word to his children, and he said to them that regardless of what appears to be the advantage your enemy has over you, you must not be afraid. You must refuse to be intimidated by the enemy. The Lord assured his children that he would always be with them and they would be victorious.

This same Word from the Lord is being communicated to you right now. You must not be afraid of what seems to be the advantage the enemy has over you. You have God on your side, and this is what is most important. The Lord will give you victory. Keep your eyes on him, strengthen your focus on him, and you will not be put to shame.

1. Understand that God’s help is always available; ask when needed.
2. Maintain a discipline of declaring God’s promises.

I boldly declare that I am more than a conqueror because God fights for me. Therefore, in the name of Jesus, I am strong in the Lord and the power of his might.
