Topic: My heart will not faint (Part 4)

Bible text: “When you go to war against your enemies, you might see horses and chariots. Their army might be bigger than yours. But don’t be afraid of them. The Lord, your God, will be with you. He brought you out of Egypt.” – Deuteronomy 20:1-2 ICB

In our bible text today, we see how the Lord assured his children that he was with them, no matter what came against them. One of the remarkable things we read in this account is how the Lord reminded them of what He had done before. God reminded them how he delivered them from the terror of Egypt. He reassured them that if he could bring them out of the strong hand of the Egyptians through his mighty exploits, then there was nothing and no one too strong that he could not deliver them from. This is what God is saying to you today if I did it before, I will do it again. God wants you not to forget his mighty acts in your past and to be strengthened by this, regardless of what you face. Please, be reminded, according to Psalms 121:4, that he who keeps you does not sleep, and he does not slumber. Be assured at all times, according to Psalms 89:23, the Lord will crush your enemies in front of you and defeat those who hate you.

1. God always fights for his children.
2. If God came through for you before, He would do it again.
3. Always encourage yourself with what God did in the past.

TODAY’S DECLARATION:

I declare I am not a slave to fear; I refuse to bow to negativity. For the Lord is with me; he goes before me and fights for me.
