TOPIC: MY RESPONSE TO OTHERS (Part 2)
BIBLE TEXT: “When we have the opportunity to help anyone, we should do it. But we should special attention to those who in the family of believers.” Galatians 6:10, ICB.

In Luke 10:25–37, the story of the Good Samaritan is told. A priest, a Levite, and a Samaritan saw a wounded man abandoned on the side of the road; they all had the opportunity to help. However, only the Samaritan offered him assistance and proved himself to be his neighbour. We are not good neighbours if we cannot be kind to others. A good neighbour is someone with the good interests of others at heart, not just someone who lives or works next door.

I understand you may have had unpleasant experiences with some people, but there are still genuine cases that need a show of love and sacrifice. This is why we must be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit as we extend a hand of help.

WISDOM PUSH:
1. Never make your neighbour regret opening his door to you.
2. Don’t cheat or take advantage of anyone.
3. Trust God to meet all your needs.

4. Know that God cares about how you treat other people.

TODAY’S PRAYER:
My Lord, I thank you for giving me the grace to live a life pleasing to you. Help me to walk in genuine love toward others.
