Topic: Never undermine God’s mercy.

Bible Text: “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” – Lamentations 3:22-23, NKJV.

The mercy of God is what keeps us from day to day. Everything we have is a product of the mercy of God. Never undermine the mercy of God. We must recognize the power and the wonders of God’s mercy. We must always thank Him for his mercies. Mercy goes over the line when efforts fail or are limited. Mercy takes over when intelligence and carefulness fail. The mercy of God is the right medicine for life. We must always recognize God’s mercy.

In Lamentations 3:22, God’s Word reminds us that we are not consumed because of his mercies. His mercy keeps away from the judgement we deserve. We are reminded in Ephesians 2:4 that God is rich in mercy because of the great love with which he loved us. In Luke 1:50, we are reminded that God’s mercy extends from generation to generation to those who fear him. Never undermine the mercy of God because no one is strong in his strength, but he is safe by the grace and mercy of God.
