Topic: NO MATTER HOW FAR

Text: “The Lord your God is kind and merciful. He will not turn away from you if you come back to him.” – 2 Chronicles 30:9b, ICB.

A sense of guilt is a key strategy used by the devil to cause a person to live a life of defeat and hopelessness, which is the opposite of what God desires for them.

So, you made a mistake? And yes, you lied about something? So, you went against your principles? You did something that goes against what God wants? You know you were wrong, but guilt won’t go away. God does not want you to live like this. He told you what you did wrong and wants you to accept his forgiveness, repent from that act and return to fellowship with him.

The father wants you back, no matter what you’ve done or how far you’ve gotten. Even in our filth, God never abandons us; rather, we are the ones who turn away from him.

If you’ve denied Jesus like Peter, God will give you a second chance. If you have lied like Abraham, God is still willing to call you his friend. If you’ve broken his trust like the prodigal son, he’s waiting for you with open arms.

The sacrifice of Jesus demonstrates that God is willing to go to any length for us. All the father asks is that you return home, reopen the fellowship, and continue to enjoy everything he has provided. No matter how far you’ve gone, the Father is waiting for you with open arms.
