Topic: NOT BY STRENGTH (Part 10)

Text: “The true children of God are those who let God’s spirit lead them.” – Romans 8:14, ICB.

Many things may look like they are from God but are actually not from Him. Some things will appeal to your physical eyes and senses but may not be God’s will for you. 

One of the worst things that can happen to a child of God is to live your life unsure of the will of God.

The Lord God did not intend for his children to judge things solely based on their five senses but rather to operate at a higher level of consciousness, seeking to know God’s mind and will on everything.

As Christians, we cannot simply be open to any idea, opportunity, or suggestion. We have a father whose desires and agenda should be of primary concern to us.

So many people have become victims of strange ideas and suggestions. Many have opened their lives to things that have caused pollution to their hearts and desires.

Many people’s Love and fear of God have grown cold due to the things they’ve exposed themselves to.

Dear friend, to avoid becoming a victim of negative ideas, suggestions, opportunities, and influences, you must consciously submit to the guidance, leadership, and authority of the Holy Spirit. Be intentional and unapologetic about this.

TODAY’S TASK:

Examine your heart to see if anything is taking the place of God. Check to confirm if the fear and Love for God still rule over your heart.

There is such an undeniable honour and peace enjoyed by those who pay attention to God’s counsel and direction.
