Topic: NOT BY STRENGTH (Part 5)

Text: “Before I made you in your mother’s womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work…” – Jeremiah 1:5, ICB.

 

As Christians, we must recognise that we are not in this world for ourselves. We exist in this world for more than just making money, spending money, or promoting ourselves.

We are in this world to fulfil the purposes and the counsel of the Lord. You are not leading a fruitful Christian life until you reach this level of consciousness and dedication.

When we truly allow God to lead our lives, we will consistently grow in the awareness that we are here for something greater than ourselves – to express the Father’s will.

However, discerning and birthing the Father’s will cannot be accomplished solely through human efforts. It is through the power of the Spirit. This is another reason you should lean on and draw from God daily.

You need God’s grace to birth God’s will in your generation. If this is indeed the focus of your life – that is, to express the counsels and desires in God’s heart, then you need God’s grace every day. Today, and every day, receive his grace by faith.

TODAY’S TASK:

Consciously repent of placing your needs ahead of God’s and ask the Lord to open your eyes and heart to His needs.

God may not always give you the ask, but he will always provide you with what you need.
