Topic: NOT BY STRENGTH (Part 8)

Text: “No one who trusts in you will be disgraced…” – Psalms 25:3, ICB.

It pays to serve the Lord. It pays to heed his ways and to submit to his counsel. It pays to know God and to know what He wants. There is profit in standing with God. King David testified about God’s children in Psalms 37:25, “I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous (those in right standing with God) abandoned or his descendants pleading for bread.”

There is something extraordinary about those who love the Lord, something that cannot be bought with money or received from academic institutions. God’s glory is upon those who have made the Lord God Almighty to be king over their hearts.

However, we must remember that some of our brethren are going through difficult times and are discouraged in their faith. Some are already having doubts about their faith and may give in to compromise.

God needs us to live as encouragements and inspirations, where your life inspires someone that it pays to follow Jesus Christ, where you have the kind of results in your marriage, finances, health, and all other areas that will encourage someone that God is faithful.

Dear friend, to live this kind of life and command this kind of testimony where your life is an encouragement to the faith of others, you need to consciously lean on God’s help and grace every day. It is possible only by the grace of God.

Reach out to someone today to encourage their faith in the Lord Jesus. You may be saving a soul by doing this.
