Topic: NOT BY STRENGTH (Part 9)

Text: “My God, I trust you. Do not let me be disgraced. Do not let my enemies laugh at me.” – Psalms 25:2, ICB.

One of the most heartbreaking stories to read is about people who fell from grace to grass, people who rose to great heights only to lose their honour, opportunities, good name, or wealth due to one or more factors. Those who praised them yesterday have moved on to others.

In today’s world, people don’t pay much attention to you if you no longer have something valuable to offer. As is often said, success has many relatives, whereas failure is an orphan.

This is why our desire ought to be to grow from strength to strength and to rise from glory to glory in all areas of our lives, such that at all times, the beauty and glory of our God will be seen in our lives, upon our efforts and wherever our names are mentioned, it will always be for good.

Dear friend, for you not to become victims of the little foxes that destroy, you need to be intentional about leaning on the grace of God daily, acknowledging your frailty and limitations and accepting his grace and strength daily.

God wants to continue shining his light through you, but you must focus on him so that you will always be beaming with glory and never be exposed to shame or ridicule (Psalms 34:5).

Examine yourself for the small things that keep you from obeying what the Lord says and repent of them today.
