TOPIC: ONLY JESUS (Part 1)

Text: “The words I say do the same thing. They will not return to me empty. They make the things happen. They succeed in doing what I send them to do.” -Isaiah 55:11, ICB.

Dear friends, there are many things that only our Lord Jesus can do. Humans may attempt but fail due to their limited strength and capacity.

People make promises to us as a way of expressing their love for us. Many times, it comes from a very good place. They want to keep those promises, but they are limited by circumstances. All of these occur because man is limited. Man is capable of being overwhelmed by situations and events. Even though man can plan, things do not always go as planned due to many factors.

But friends, only Jesus Christ can be trusted. His words can be trusted. His promises can be trusted. His love can be trusted. His name can be trusted. So, while friends and family may fail to keep their promises to you, lean consciously and persistently on the love of Jesus.

Dear friends, Jesus can grant you whatever you desire. Believe it, declare it, and you will continue to have testimonies. Whatever it is, only Jesus can!
