TOPIC: ONLY JESUS (Part 4)

Text: “I mean that you have been saved by grace because you believe. You did not save yourselves. It was a gift from God.” — Ephesians‬ 2‬:8‬, ICB‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬.

Dear friends, only Jesus can save. We all have something we need to be saved from. It could be our fears, our past, our thoughts, our enemies, our obstacles, our resistance, or anything else.

Except if we want to live in denial, we know there is something we need to be saved from. Some people are both afraid to die and afraid to live. They are constantly terrified. They need Jesus because he is the only one who can save them.

Whatever is threatening your life, your loved ones, your happiness, or your peace, you need to call out to Jesus Christ. Receive his help by faith.

No one can pluck you out of his hands. No one is strong enough to wrestle anything or anyone out of God’s hands.

Only Jesus can save. Charms, witch doctors, enchanters and diviners cannot do much for you because they also need help. They are also more limited than they would like to admit.

Only Jesus Christ can save. He is reminding you of this important truth today. Nothing should make you afraid any longer; instead, turn to Jesus. Only Jesus can save.

The solution comes when we turn our backs to alternatives and fix our eyes on Jesus.
