Topic: OPEN TO GROWTH (Part 3)

Text: “The Lord our God spoke to us at Horeb, saying ‘You have stayed long enough on this mountain.” – Deuteronomy 1:6, AMP.

 

When a person becomes intentional about always hearing the voice of God, they will never be stagnant or frustrated. The voice of God delivers us from mediocrity, discouragement and manipulation.

According to our bible text, God told his people they needed to arise. Their deliverance and motivation were in the voice of God they heard.

Dear friend, you need constant access to the voice of God to challenge and empower you for growth. The voice of God challenges us for more. The voice of God will reveal to us where we have settled unknowingly. 

It is not enough to talk to God; we must allow God to talk to us. Ask the Lord to speak to you about various areas of your life. You need constant access to the voice of God to challenge and empower you for growth.

From our bible text, we learn that God’s voice made them realize they had settled too long in Mount Horeb. We must keep hearing from God daily; it will keep pulling us upward and forward.

Ask the Lord to speak to you about various areas of your life and reveal the areas where you are no longer pushing to be better.
