TOPIC: OUR WALK WITH GOD
BIBLE TEXT: “And there he built an altar to the Lord and called upon the name of the Lord.” – Genesis 12:8.

We all need God. In everything, we need his help, direction, and wisdom. The Bible shows us that Abraham had a great relationship with God. God told him to leave his home country and go to Canaan. Abraham didn’t sit back and do nothing. Instead, he did what God told him, even though it didn’t seem easy. We also see another example in Jesus; he submitted to God in all things and witnessed God’s power over all things. Once, when he was in a situation where he needed to feed a large crowd that had gathered to hear him speak. Because he walked in obedience to the father, he felt confident enough to ask God to bless the few available resources so he could feed the people. And the Lord did exactly what he asked. This is one of the blessings of obedience; the authority to ask the Lord for anything. Some things will not happen unless we live in absolute obedience to God. This is my counsel to you today; keep walking with God. Continue to yield. As you walk with God and yield to him, great power for all-around possibilities is released in your life.

WISDOM PUSH:
1. Seek God’s face in all you do; lean not on your understanding.

2. Do not become passive in our relationship with God.

TODAY’S DECLARATION:

I declare that I call to God for help, and He gives me victory every time. I am not slack in my faithfulness and hard work. My Spirit is on fire, bubbling and boiling over, as I serve the Lord with joy.
