TOPIC: OUT OF THE CLOSET (Part 4)

We live in significant times where we are witnessing things we never imagined would happen many years ago. Among these bizarre experiences is hearing and seeing people choose the gender by which they want to be identified.

We are experiencing a crisis of gender identity, and society is gradually adjusting to this absurdity. We now have ‘gender expression’, which allows a person to express their gender identity through name, pronouns, clothing, hairstyle, voice, behaviour, and so on.

While gender identity has always been defined as either female or male, we now have nonbinary, genderfluid, gender-neutral, transgender, pangender, cisgender, and other categories.

Interestingly, many so-called Christians are developing new definitions and classifications to accommodate the type of Christians they desire to be. So, you hear people say things like, “I’m not a loud Christian,” “My Christianity isn’t very deep,” and so on. 

Dear friend, there is no middle ground, and there must be no confusion about your stand with God – you are either hot or cold. You are either for Jesus or not.

We must continue to be inspired by the examples of the early church and not allow our generation’s complacency to cause us to waver in our commitment to Christ. We cannot remain in the closet; let us go public with Jesus.
