TOPIC: OVERCOMING FEAR (Part 1)

Text: “Do not fear, for you will not be put to shame, and do not feel humiliated or ashamed, for you will not be disgraced. For you will forget the shame of your youth, and you will no longer remember the disgrace of your widowhood.” – Isaiah 54:4 AMP.

 

The word of God is not like the words of a man; it is God’s word backed by God’s integrity. We need to believe and agree with it. And most importantly, we must always declare it with confidence. 

Through God’s word, we can see God’s position concerning our lives, which positively affects our outlook. God is with us; he will help, strengthen, and uphold us. We must always remind ourselves of these truths.

God wants you to face each day without fear and to be confident that he is watching over you and your interests.

When you start entertaining fear and allowing it control you, you are saying, “My God cannot help me; my God is absent; I am helpless.”

And all these feelings are lies. Fear thrives on lies. There are the lies the devil sells to us to make us feel powerless and afraid.

Dear friend, remember God’s word in Deuteronomy 31:6, “Be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid of them. Don’t be frightened. The Lord, your God, will go with you. He will not leave you or forget you.”

WISDOM PUSH

No matter what is happening to you, if you refuse to bow to the voice of fear, the situation will bow to you.

I declare that all through today, fear will not prevail over me. I walk and speak with faith and authority in Jesus’ name.
