TOPIC: OVERCOMING FEAR (Part 4)

Text: “I will say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety and protection. You are my God, and I trust you.” – Psalms 91:2, ICB.

The Bible tells us about a man called Gideon in Judges 6. This man had a great destiny, and great potential was locked inside him. But Gideon was living in fear. He saw what the enemy had done to others, and this made him afraid that he may soon become a victim. He looked at what had become of others and believed he could never amount to greatness.

But one day, the Lord sent a word to him and told him to come out of his negative feeling. God assured him that he would not be a victim of what the enemy was doing to others. In fact, he was going to be used by God to stop the activities of the enemy. The Lord also assured Gideon that He was with him.

From that encounter, how Gideon saw himself started changing, ushering him to live a winning life. 

Dear friend, just like Gideon, the awareness and the unshakable belief that God is with you is everything you need.

If God is for you, there is nothing you cannot rise above, nothing you cannot conquer, and nothing the enemy can do to you.

It doesn’t matter how many people rise against you because God is with you; they are fighting a lost battle.

When you open the door to fear, you have opened the door to the enemy. Nothing should ever make you doubt that God is with you. Keep your eyes on this truth. This is another effective weapon to overcome fear.

Choose to speak life, victory, and progress; your tongue is an important weapon for the victory God has given you.

TODAY’S DECLARATION

In the name of Jesus, I declare that the hand of the Lord is upon me, and I am free from the bondage of fear.
