Today’s Word: OVERCOMING NEGATIVE INFLUENCES (Part 7)

Today’s Bible Reference: 1 Timothy 6:10 (ICB)—“The love of money causes all kinds of evil. Some people have left the true faith because they want to get more and more money. But they have caused themselves much sorrow.”

As believers, beyond what money can buy, we also have access to what money cannot buy through Christ. One of the greatest gifts of God is peace. For everyone in Christ, we have the peace of God—both peace with God and peace in our hearts.

In John 14:27 (TPT), Jesus says, “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the fragile peace the world gives. Do not yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous.”

Peace means knowing that God is with you at all times. This knowledge shapes how you live. Nothing compares to the awareness that God is in control.

An unbeliever may flaunt wealth, but they do not possess peace of mind. The absence of peace invites turmoil. Jesus, the author of peace, must be the pilot of your life, guiding your every decision.

Dear friend, today, God calls you not to envy sinners but to walk in His fear in all things (Proverbs 23:17-18). Your blessings and everything good you desire are guaranteed in God.

Dear Lord, help me walk in the path you have laid out for me, in Jesus’ name.
