Topic: PAUSE AND APPRECIATE (Part 1)

Text: “Enter his gates with a song of thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise his name.” – Psalms 100:4, AMP.

Humans naturally want things over and over again. But, in the midst of all our endeavours, we must cultivate the discipline of pausing, reflecting on our lives, and thanking God. We are where we are, who we are, and have what we have because of His grace. Indeed, every day is both a blessing and a miracle.

Waking up, going about your daily activities, having friends and family who love and support you, and having working hands, legs, ears, and other body components are all miracles worth thanking God for.

We must not become so caught up in the rat race of acquiring, consuming, and the never-ending cycle of simply wanting things that we fail to appreciate God for his blessings, love, and goodness.

I encourage you to take some time today to pause, reflect, and express your gratitude to God.
