Topic: PAUSE AND APPRECIATE (Part 3)

Text: “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him, and he helps me. I am very happy.” – Psalms 28:7, ICB.

 

We are products of help. We are beneficiaries of the goodwill, labour, efforts, sacrifices and love of others. There is no such thing as a self-made or self-sustaining human being; our lives are enriched and made better by the kindness and sacrifices of others. It is important never to forget this truth. This is why you should take the time to appreciate those in your life. Be deliberate about this. Be unashamed about this. 

There are human blessings God has brought into your life; their presence, input and efforts are a blessing to you. Please pause and appreciate them. They may make mistakes occasionally, they may not always get things right or even step on your toes, but they are a blessing to you. Let them know. It could be your spouse, employer, employee, pastor, children, siblings, parents, etc. Pause and appreciate.
