Today’s Word: Peace is Possible (Part 1)
Today’s Bible Reference: John 14:27, TPT – “I leave the gift of peace with you- my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts, instead, be courageous!”.
Peace is God’s gift to us in a chaotic and troublesome world. There are many reasons to be anxious, troubled, or even frantic and worried as we go about our everyday lives.
Jesus knew this well, and when he was giving instructions about things to come before his crucifixion, he assured us that he would not be in this world; he would leave his peace behind.
Jesus understood that many things make us afraid, but it is important to remember that Jesus has already brought peace before the troubles or situations began.
All we need to do is receive, by faith, his peace and allow it to overflow into every situation in our lives. Say it loud, ‘Lord, I receive your peace.’
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
Lord Jesus, I thank you for your lasting peace. I decree that I enjoy this peace every day in Jesus’ name.
