Topic: PEACE LIKE A RIVER (Part 2)

Text: “But the spirit gives love, joy, peace, patience, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”-Galatians 5: 22, ICB.

 

The spirit of God is within us to guide and lead us. He is a teacher, leader, and director of our souls.

The Bible says in Psalms 32: 8, the ‘ICB’ version: “I will make you wise. I will show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you”.

As our shepherd, God desires to lead us beside still waters.

Isaiah 48:18 says, “If you had obeyed me, you would have had peace like a full flowing river.”

Our peace is tied to our obedience to God. As we obey God, our obedience produces peace in our hearts.

God loves us, and he will never cause us harm, so he will never lead us on a path that will hurt or a path that is not for our good.

Dear friend, are there storms and challenges in your life? I urge you to seek God’s direction on what to do about it. He will make a way and show you a way of escape.

I pray that you will experience God’s peace today!
