Topic: PEACE LIKE A RIVER (Part 3)

Text: “But the spirit gives love, joy, peace, patience, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”-Galatians 5: 22, ICB.

What does it mean to have overflowing peace?

Is it possible to be at peace in the midst of challenges?

Can we become known as the person who is always calm in the midst of the storm and as the person who walks into a place and carries an atmosphere of peace wherever we go?

The answer is yes, but this is not possible by human strength. It is possible by God’s spirit in us.

Peace is not the absence of challenges, difficulties or problems; it is the ability to be still, unmoved, and not worried or anxious no matter what we face.

Jesus spoke about this kind of peace when he said, ‘My peace I give to you, not as the world gives…’

Dear friend, is there a challenge or storm facing you today? I pray that just like Peter, you will walk on the waves that may have caused you sleepless nights.
