Topic: PERSPECTIVES (Part 1)

Text: “Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.” – Romans 12:2, TPT.

There is a right and healthy perspective on life and issues. There is also an unhealthy perspective on life and issues.

Perspectives mean our outlook, our attitude towards something, and how we perceive things.

Sadly, it is possible to have a toxic view of issues, topics and life, and not be aware that your perspectives are toxic and flawed. This could be because no one has told us the truth, or we feel something validates it, or maybe we are too proud to admit it.

Sometimes, our complaints, anger, and unhappiness often are not really about what we think the “issues” are, but it has more to do with our perspectives and how we see things.

When you find certain things reoccurring in your life, perhaps you see certain things happening to you again and again, or you find yourself having difficulty breaking through certain seasons and limitations, there could be an issue with your perspectives that need to change.

The most powerful  opposition against us is the opposition within us. 

Sadly, we try to fight everyone and everything around us, but we are not aware of the opposition within us. 

For many people, a significant obstruction and obstacle in their life and towards their growth is their perspective on self development, love, friendship, kindness, generosity, family, and so much more.

Dear friend, God cares about our perspectives on things, and this is why one of the blessings of giving quality attention to God’s word is that it begins to align us with the right way of thinking according to God’s desires.

No matter how defective or flawed a person’s perspective may be on anything, as you keep receiving the word of God with an open heart, it will begin to heal you and gradually make you a better person.

WISDOM PUSH:

If you don’t like something, change it. If you cannot change it, change the way you think about it.

TODAY’S DECLARATION:

Lord Jesus, I ask that you deliver from every wrong perspective I have to anything. Heal my mind in Jesus’ name.
