Today’s topic: PUT GOD FIRST (Part 1)

Bible Text: “The thing you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other things you need will be given to you.” – Matthew 6:33, ICB.

We live in a time when finding people who want to survive and excel by any means possible is common. There is so much compromise and complacency in our world today. Even so-called Christians abandon godly values and principles in pursuit of things. Some have made their ambitions their masters.

We are not Christians unless we value and submit to the ways of the Lord. The Word of God is our standard, which cannot change regardless of location or situation. God wants to be Lord over everything we do. If we let him lead, we will experience his overflowing grace.

WISDOM PUSH:

1. Don’t abandon your faith to get ahead.
2. Maintain your focus on things that bring God honour.
3. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in everything you do.

TODAY’S PRAYER:

My Father, guide me as I make decisions for today and tomorrow in Jesus’ name. Today, I declare that I am prospering according to the will of God for my life.
