Today’s topic: PUT GOD FIRST (Part 4)
Bible Text: “The thing you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing what God wants. Then all these other things you need will be given to you.” – Matthew 6:33, ICB.
2 Chronicles 1:10-12 explains Solomon’s encounter with God. Solomon’s response to God’s question was unusual. Of all the things he could have asked for, Solomon asked for wisdom to serve the people and reflect God to them. Indeed, your love for God shows in your prayers and the requests you make of him.
God was pleased when he heard Solomon’s desire. So God promised and gave Solomon incredible wisdom, knowledge, and wealth.
Dear friend, a time like this requires us to reconsider our devotion to God, and we recommit to the Father. We must maintain a heart that genuinely burns for God and to do his will.
