Today’s topic: Results by the Spirit (Part 4)

Bible Text: “Then he told me, “This is the message from the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘You will not succeed by your own strength or by your own power. The power will come from my Spirit,’ says the Lord of heaven’s armies.” — Zechariah 4:6, ICB.

In Matthew 5:16, God’s Word says our light must shine so others can see our good works and glorify our heavenly Father. When people look at us, they should be able to say, as they did about Peter and John in Acts 4:13, “these have been with Jesus.” Our lifestyle, discipline and accomplishments should bear witness to the fact that we are under the influence and leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Dear friend, there are possibilities in God we will never experience until we come to the point of submission to God’s will. Then, when we obey God in all things, we make room for the spirit in our lives.

WISDOM PUSH:

1. Recognize that no matter where you are now, God sees and has something better for you.
2. When we take on tasks that we know only God can help us with, God’s grace shines through.
3. Understand that your sacrifices to obey God will never be in vain.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that my will is surrendered to God’s will for my life.
