Topic: REVELATION AND PROVISION (Part 4)

Bible Text: “Jesus has the power of God. His power has given us everything we need to live and to serve God. We have these things because we know him. Jesus called us by his glory and goodness.” – 2 Peter 1:3, ICB.

In Genesis 13:14-17, the Lord said, “I will give you as far as your eyes can see.” A key emphasis here is “as far as your eyes can see”. Many who desire great things from the Lord have closed eyes and hearts; because they have closed eyes and hearts, they also suffer from empty hands. To experience God’s provision and supply, our eyes and heart must be opened in faith to the possibilities of our God. We must come to a point where we believe in God’s provision more than anything. There is nothing God cannot do and nothing God cannot give us. The real struggle is in the ability to see what God has said and promised beyond our challenges.

Our revelation of God through his Word grants us access to his treasures. The revelation and understanding of what God has said compel us to accept God’s Word as more than a promise but a commitment. Everything is already available in God because, with God, anything is possible. Therefore, we must receive God’s Word in faith and not allow situations or anyone to make us disregard or doubt what God has declared in his Word.

While you wait for your expectations to be met, continue to declare God’s Word in that area.
