TOPIC: SEEK TO KNOW HIM (Part 10)

Text: “He showed his ways to Moses and his miracles to the people of Israel.” -Psalms 103:7, ICB

In our churches today, it is not unusual to find people who are desperate for things, desperate for breakthroughs and the likes. While all of this is wonderful, if we only seek miracles and breakthroughs, we will never be stable and grounded in faith, even if we have miracles, signs, and wonders.

We see this very clearly in the story of the children of Israel while in the wilderness. They saw great miracles and the mighty signs and wonders of God. But because they were people who didn’t know the ways of the Lord, they were never stable. You will find them saying great things about God today, and the next day, they express doubts about God’s love and power. They were not grounded in their faith walk with God.

It is through the knowledge and understanding of the ways of the Lord that we become grounded and established in the right way.

Friends, in every area you truly desire to shine and to stand out, seek to know God’s mind in that area and begin to walk with God according to His word, and you will experience His almighty power in Jesus’ name.
