TOPIC: SEEK TO KNOW HIM (Part 4)

Text: “The Lord says: these people say they love me…But their hearts are far from me. The honour they show me is nothing but human rules they have memorized.” -Isaiah 29:13, ICB.

A critical challenge that many believers face is that we are not relating with God according to knowledge. Many Christians are praying to a God they don’t know. You may have had miracles and awesome testimonies, but you still do not know God.

Scripture shows us something remarkable in Acts 17. Apostle Paul was in Athens and met some very religious people who worshipped God but didn’t really know him. In fact, they had an inscription on the temple altar: To an unknown God.

Apostle Paul began to feed them with the knowledge of God. He began to tell them of the love and wonders of the Almighty God. I believe their walk with God truly began as they came to the knowledge of God. Our Christian walk ascends to another level as we grow in the knowledge of God.

Dear friend, our God loves to be known. He wants you to know him. He does not want to be the Father you cannot relate with. Seek to know him better every day.

The presence of breakthroughs and miracles is not always proof that you know God. You must seek to know the giver more than receiving gifts.
