Today’s Word: Self-Encouragement (Part 5)
Today’s Bible Reference: 1 Samuel 17:46, NKJV – “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you…”
One of the remarkable testimonies in the scriptures is that of David defeating Goliath. David’s victory defies human logic. What could have fueled the confidence of a youth of David’s stature to challenge a known champion like Goliath boldly?
What was going through David’s mind as he stared at the frame of mighty Goliath? Was David not afraid when he saw the weapons Goliath had? These and many more are questions many will keep asking.
However, we can acknowledge that David confronted Goliath with the confidence that God was with him. He kept declaring he could not be defeated because God was with him.
You ought to learn from this and boldly declare, no matter what comes against you – “Because God is with me, I cannot fail – my marriage, business, children, and everything about me will not fail.” Nothing should make you afraid – you cannot fail.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration
In the name of Jesus, I declare that because God is with me, I cannot fail.
