Today’s Word: Self-Encouragement (Part 6)
Today’s Bible Reference: 1 Samuel 17:46, NKJV – “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you…”
As we continue to x-ray the account of David and Goliath, there is something remarkable worth noting. David declared victory even before it happened physically. He already declared what he sensed in the spirit. He told Goliath, “Today, the Lord will deliver you into my hand…” David refused to be moved by the frame of Goliath; he declared what he believed God would do.
Let this be a principle you adopt; declare your righteous expectation. Encourage yourself with what you sense God is going to do. Don’t keep quiet about what the Lord is ministering to your spirit and what He will do through you. Like David, speak to the mountains, challenges and location. God is with you.
