Today’s Word: SHARPEN YOUR FOCUS (Part 1)
Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 34:5 (ICB)—“Those who go to him for help are happy. They are never disgraced.”
Our spirits are filled with encouragement and strength when we truly fix our gaze on the Lord. Our scripture assures us that by looking to God, we are filled with hope and joy.
A major reason many of us battle with experiences of discouragement and depression is that we often look to others for help. The Lord is calling us to shift our focus and place our trust entirely in Him.
While the love of others is invaluable, human limitations mean they can only do so much. But our God is limitless, and when we trust Him, we will never be let down. Scripture promises that those who place their trust in the Lord will never be ashamed.
God’s word for you today is clear: change your focus. Choose to trust in Him, and watch His strength and hope fill your heart.
May God’s word continue to prosper in your heart in Jesus’ name.
