Today’s Word: SOMETHING NEW (Part 2)
Today’s Bible Reference: “Now the Lord had said to Abram: Get out of your country, from your family and your father’s house to a land I will show you.” – Genesis 12:1, NKJV.
New beginnings are not always comfortable; your life may be disrupted in many ways. This is a major reason many would rather remain with the status quo. Many cannot face the demands of change, so they would rather continue with the things that have always been.
According to our bible text, God told Abraham that he was starting something new with him, but he would need to make an uncomfortable decision – He must detach from the way he has always done things. He needed to leave his father’s house.
Your desire for a new beginning will demand sacrifices. It will be painful at the beginning, but if you stay faithful to the process, it will be rewarding.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, I declare that all through this season, I will have no reason to run to the enemy for help.
