TOPIC: STAY ON COURSE (PART 2)
Text: “May He give you what you want. May all your plans succeed.” – Psalms 20:4, ICB.

As you study the scriptures, you discover that great people are finishers. Jesus was a finisher. On the cross, he said, it is finished.

Apostle Paul was a finisher; he said, I have finished my race. You must also decide and commit to being a finisher. Staying on course requires two major forces: decision and commitment. 

Being decisive is about vision, and commitment is about sacrifice. You must be decisive about where you want to end up and committed to the price that must be paid.

Everything that will be worthwhile will be demanding. When you decide to get started on anything that will be great and satisfying, understand the place of sacrifices.  You will make sacrifices but understand that none of your sacrifices will be in vain, and you will be rewarded. 

Many abandon their vision and project because they cannot make sacrifices or they get tired of inconveniencing themselves. 

Dear friend, as long as your vision is clear to you, you have the potential to make it happen. Don’t doubt it; keep moving forward, keep growing and don’t stop until the vision becomes a reality.

TODAY’S TASK

Take some time to meditate on Hebrews 12:1-2.

Keep moving in the direction of your vision. No matter how slow it seems, maintain focus.
