TOPIC: STAY ON COURSE (PART 3)

Text: “A person who does not control himself is like a city whose walls have broken down.” – Proverbs 25:28, ICB.

Any person who desires to finish well in whatever they set out to do must be able to identify what has the power and potential to make them fail and derail.

The truth is, whatever you set out to do, there will be potential distractions. The kind of attention you give them will determine if they succeed against your dream or how far they will go.

If you ignore potential distractions, you will lose passion, focus, resources, and conviction without knowing it.

If you desire success in whatever you do or aim for, you need to be aware of what can cause you to fail and what has the potential to make you end up in shame.

Maybe if only Samson had understood that frolicking with Delilah would have made him end up as a mockery, I believe he would have been more careful.

What appeals to others may often not be suitable for you because of your vision and pursuit. Dear friend, be aware and alert of your potential distractions and derailers.

TODAY’S TASK

Ask the Lord to help you identify the things holding you back in the areas where you desire growth.

WISDOM PUSH

If you do not deal with your distractions, they will interfere with your good expectations.
