TOPIC: STAY ON COURSE (PART 5)
Text: “Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above…” – Colossians 3:2, AMP.

 

In achieving success, focus is critical. However, there is the spirituality of focus. There is the spiritual dimension of starting well and finishing gloriously. As Christians, we understand the reality of spiritual resources.

One of the spiritual resources we tap into when we give attention to spiritual matters is the grace to stay focused. As you give yourself to prayer, there is an empowerment for focus that is awakened and sustained in you.

Proverbs 16:3 reminds us that when we commit our ways to the Lord, He will establish our plans. As we commit our plans and vision to the Lord, He strengthens us with focus. By His Spirit in us, the Lord empowers us with a supernatural ability that is stirred in us to win over whatever will make us derail.

As you pray for focus, declare over your mind. Ask the Lord for clarity and wisdom to win over the many things competing for your attention.

If you desire to remain on the right path, you must access the grace and wisdom for focus.
