Today’s Word: STAY ON TRACK: Winning Over Distractions (Part 5)
Bible Reference: 2 Timothy 2:4, TPT—“For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him.”
A distraction will take you away from what is truly important. If you fail to conquer distractions, they will overpower your vision and purpose.
As we carefully study the scriptures, we observe that distractions conquered one of the men whose story would have been truly remarkable—Samson.
One of the worst tragedies a person with great potential can experience is distraction from the right thing. You must distinguish between what is good and what is right; that something seems good doesn’t mean it may be right for you or right for the phase you are at.
Always note this: there will always be something of less importance that wants to draw you away from the important things you should commit to.
If you can identify and overcome distractions daily, nothing can successfully limit you.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, I refuse to be a victim of any distraction; I am winning daily over distractions.
