Today’s Word: STAY ON TRACK: Winning Over Distractions (Part 8)

Bible Reference: Proverbs 4:26, NIV – “Give careful thoughts to the paths of your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.”

It is not every opportunity presented to you that is a blessing; some are distractions. You need to seek the leading and approval of the Lord before you give your nod to anything.

The mere presentation of opportunities mustn’t change your vision and direction. Your vision should determine the opportunities you must entertain. That something is available should not make it desirable.

So many people with great potential have embraced a life of limitations because they fell cheaply for distractions that appeared as opportunities.

I want to encourage you today. There is so much God wants to do with your life, in our generation and for His glory. But you have a responsibility to identify the things that are capable of ruining your life and, like Joseph and Daniel, decide not to be a victim.

I am praying for you that God’s wisdom continues to guide you.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I will not fail to fulfill God’s purpose for my generation.
