Today’s Word: STEPPING OUT IN BOLD FAITH (Part 4)

Today’s Bible Reference: Jeremiah 33:3, AMP – “Call to Me, and I will answer you and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.” 

 

Our God can do all things, and when we call on Him, we can be sure He will answer. However, as we ask God for great things, we must also recognize our responsibilities.

If you desire God to do great things in your life, know that you have a part to play. Many people pray for answers without realizing they must take responsibility for their prayers to be fulfilled.

God’s Word offers wisdom to guide us as responsible believers. We must prepare for what we ask for and ask the Lord to open our eyes and hearts to understand what is required of us.

At times, delays in seeing God’s answers are due to our lack of growth. What we ask for may be waiting for us to make decisions, adopt new resolutions, exercise discipline, change our attitudes, or approach challenges differently. If we neglect our responsibility, we may miss out on God’s possibilities.

We must be awakened to our responsibility for everything we desire from the Lord. It’s essential to remember that God’s Word works not only for us but also with us.

I agree with you today that God’s Word is producing mighty results in all aspects of your life.
