Today’s Word: SUBMITTING TO GOD: THE KEY TO DEVELOPING A GODLY CHARACTER (Part 12)

Today’s Bible Reference: Proverbs 28:18, ICB—”Innocent people will be kept safe. But those who are dishonest will suddenly be ruined.”

Our lives are testimonies to God’s glory. As His children, we are called to be light and salt, demonstrating integrity in every area. The world watches our actions; we must ensure our lives reflect Christ in all we do.

This is why daily living with the discipline of God’s word and our submission to the Holy Spirit enables us to live as worthy ambassadors and true reflections of Jesus to our world.

Dear friend, always remember that what you do in private shapes what you are known for in public. Your genuine submission to God will always manifest in all you do.

Reject the practice of pretense or faking growth; it will be revealed in times of trial or in a season when you are supposed to be due for a promotion. No matter how pretentious a person may be, everything hidden always comes out in the open.

Even if people tell lies or try to set traps for us, like Daniel, we can escape every lion’s den when we live a life of honesty and submission to God. 

Godly character and authentic spirituality go hand in hand; you cannot be a person genuinely given to the secret place and not be a person of godly character. 

I pray for you that you grow in wisdom and godly character every day in Jesus’ name.
